Dreamed Some Past
I just let him leave. I saw what I was holding and what was written on it. I remembered Klio, so maybe I’m crying again now. I put all the information in the notebook as well as the important cellphone numbers that the man gave me. Mommy suddenly entered the room.
“Leyra, how’s your day?” Mommy asked me.
“Nothing good,” sigh, I said.
“Why? Is there anything wrong? Is something wrong with you? Is there something that bothers you?” she asked again.
“Wait, chill, mom, what is this Q&A? You’re stressing my amnestic brain.” I sarcastically said to Mom.
“Lady! I’m serious. Is there anything wrong?” she asked, raising her voice, and dude, she’s really serious. And because of that, I became serious and showed her what I always wanted.
