Chapter 109

Pandora's POV

My mind was in a mess as I could not get over the fact that Ashley had actually hurt Caleb. Even though they had tried to hide their relationship from everyone at first, it had become evident over the last few weeks that Caleb had truly been in love with her. 

It was hard to think that someone as nice as Ashley could harbor such in her heart and even execute it. 

All attempts to make me feel better weren't working as I fell ill and couldn't stop throwing up. The doctor has been to the palace over three times today just to check on me as nothing seems to be helping me feel better. 

"Why are you doing this to me?" Rolan asked as I looked up sadly and saw him standing, arms at akimbo at the doorway. 

It looked like he had been standing there for some time and I was too lost in thoughts to even notice that he was there. 

"I'm fine, babe. Just tired." I answered and stirred, trying to turn my back
