I jerked up from my sleep. It was the same nightmare again, one that had my mom dissecting my sister's insides and eating it with her crazy lover, Zach. My night was ruined, and I knew that there was no way that I was going to sleep a wink again. 

Ashley had been my greatest worry when I was in jail, but I had thought that she would be satisfied with the life she had. She had her one true mate by her side whom I learned she shot to death the day she left with our mother.
