Griffin’s POV

The night air buzzed with excitement, a deceptive sense of joy wrapping around the palace grounds like a shroud. The full moon hung low, its silvery light spilling across the festivities, casting shadows that danced alongside the flickering lanterns. 

I watched as laughter erupted among the pack members, oblivious to the dark storm brewing beneath the surface. My plan was set in motion, the threads of chaos I had meticulously woven ready to unravel at the right moment.

I kept my eyes on Camila, her laughter ringing in my ears as she mingled with Pandora, Kiara, and Ashley. They were inseparable, each of them wearing matching dresses that rippled like the leaves in the wind. 

I had approached Camila earlier, trying to sound casual as I asked what she and the girls had talked about. She had assured me that they hadn’t shared any secrets, that Pandora was blissfully ignorant of my plans.
