Chapter 35

Pandora's POV

My stomach was so heavy that I felt like the sheer weight of it was enough to break my shoulders and back. Rolan traveled for about three days and was supposed to return today. 

I had managed to convince him to let me come and get him from the airport, just as a means for me to exercise a bit and also get some air, seeing that I have been cooped up in the house because the doctor prescribed bed rest due to the nature of my pregnancy. 

It was almost time for his arrival, so I rushed into the shower and rushed out. None of the clothes in my wardrobe fit me anymore. I went to Rolan's and picked out his shirt and I paired it with leggings. 

I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled satisfactorily before leaving the palace. 

As I drove out of the palace, I had an eerie feeling that something was going to happen. I waved off the idea of me just being paranoid because I had been alone.
