Kiara's POV

I drove into the palace, torn between bothering Pandora or not, but I decided against it since I now had a baby to also worry about.

“Hello, where's the Queen?” I asked the butler who came to welcome me from the door. 

I took the warm towel he offered and wiped my face. I missed this house. It smells so much like an actual home and not like mine that just feels like a box.

“The Queen stepped out to the airport. The king is arriving today so she went to get him home.” The butler informed me and I nodded my thanks. 

I went upstairs and sat down in the room I had previously occupied when I was still new in the pack and trying to find my feet. 

My meeting with Eric bugged my mind, and I felt like it wasn't going to be so easy to keep him and his childishness away from my baby. I was going to do this on my own rather than stay with a man who does not have any iota of respect for me.
