Chapter 120. Due Date
Savannah’s POV
Two Weeks Later
I walk into the dining room with a light pep in my step. It’s another beautiful morning in the castle, although the air feels slightly cooler. The smell of the freshly brewed coffee and freshly baked croissants fill the air as soon as I step in, and a smile curves up my lips.
“Good morning, guys,” I say chirpily, pulling out a chair to sit next to Juju and Lexy.
They already have a cup of coffee and a croissant each, but they’ve barely touched their food.
“Morning,” Lexy replies flatly. Her eyes are glued to her phone.
“Cheerio, top of the mornin’ to ya,” Juju says, using that horrible English accent. He too is busy looking at his phone.
I remember when Juju and Lexy couldn’t stop gushing over the croissants and coffee here, but for some time now, their excitement has died down. They’re having a severe case of missing their boyfriends, so even great coffee and croissants taste bland.
