Chapter 83. Promise Keeper

Harlan’s POV

“Damn. I think we worked her out too hard again,” Logan says with a laugh.

I don’t think it’s that funny. We literally just poured our hearts to her and she responded by… falling asleep.

“Let’s take her back to the room,” I say as I prop her up from her arms.

Logan takes her legs up and we both carry her with ease. We lay her down gently on the bed, then I go into the bathroom to grab a fresh towel. I dry off the excess water on her first before drying myself up.

Logan, on the other hand, doesn’t even bother with that. He’s already lying on the bed, sliding under the duvet on Savannah’s left side. After I’m all dry, I go and take the right side as I climb under the duvet.

Savannah is fast asleep, oblivious to the fact that Logan and I have decided to spend the night on her modest queen-sized bed tonight. Logan is sleeping on his side as he faces her and I decide to do the same thing. I wanna see her for a bit more before I go t
