Chapter 99. Curve Ball

Savannah’s POV

Two Weeks Later

“You sure this is gonna work?”

Juju and Lexy are standing behind me as I check my reflection in my bedroom mirror. I changed my outfit five times already, trying to pick the perfect dress to wear to dinner. It’s gotta be something classy, but not too over the top. It’s gotta be sweet, something my dad would approve of, but also sexy, you know? Because we have guests coming and I have a reputation to uphold.

Wink wink.

“Are you talking about the outfit?” I ask, twirling around in my black satin dress and red pump heels.

“No, I’m talking about this curve ball you’re gonna throw your heart attack prone dad!” Juju glares at me.

Juju’s not a believer in my idea, he thinks I’m being reckless and jeopardizing our Christmas dinner. But I have faith. Logan and Harlan only want a chance to talk with my dad. If we can just make that happen, I think we’ll have a shot.
