“Don’t mention! I’m here for you,” he told her.
Anita was a bit shocked at the statement, but she chooses not to let it show.
“I really needed you to show up, and then you did. So, I believe you,” she said aloud unconsciously.
When she realized what she said, she froze. Then held her chest and walked to her seat.
“You don’t have to be wary of your words when talking to me. I really don’t mind you pouring out your feelings to the fullest when interacting with me,” he told her and turned to leave.
“I appreciate you!” Anita then said softly behind him.
He heard it and paused. He turned and looked at her for a bit with his bright eyes, smiled and finally left.
Anita held her burning cheeks as she giggled like a child.
Even she could freely admit that she felt free whenever she was interacting with Andre compared to her feelings whenever she was talking to Thomas.
Smiling, she got to work. There was a lot to do today.
