Chapter 65. Confession (1)
As they dinned, Kate’s eyes couldn’t let go of Theresa who sat not too far away from her and Anita.
After eating, Kate quickly decided to do the dishes as she took all the plates inside the kitchen.
Anita knew how impatient her friend could be so she followed her in while the rest went to watch the television.
In the kitchen, Kate dropped the plates with anger and folded her arms.
“Kate relax. I think she has something important to say to us.”
“And that’s not the point Anita. We have enemies. God forsaken ones and you know it.”
“She is no going to harm us. Remember we have Andre and Cass here,” Anita said quietly, not wanting anyone to hear what they were discussing.
“Fine then, but be careful. I don’t trust her,” Kate said and turned to wash the plates and spoons.
“Thanks for giving her a chance Kate,” Anita thanked her, but Kate was not interested in receiving any thanks as she furrowed her brows without looking at Anita.
