Emma’s POV

“Michael, you are hurting me!” I gasped, trying to release his hold on me.

“Answer me! What is your plan with that bastard?”

“It’s…it’s nothing. I mean it, I didn’t make any plans with him,” I replied.

“Are you really sure?” he asked.

“Try getting your men to investigate. They will tell you that I didn’t make any plan with Brian,” I said, and he let go of my neck.

“Fine, I will do the research, and if it’s true, then you better prepare yourself, Emma. No one takes me for a fool,” he said.

“I wouldn’t even dare. After all, my dad is in your hands,” I said.

“Glad you still know that. Now get well. In a few days’ time, you will be married to Brian, and as soon as you get him to sign all his properties to you, I can finish him. I can’t wait for that day to come,” he finished.

“Don’t you feel guilty wanting to kill someone?” I asked.

“Guilty?” he scoffed. “Don’t try to preach to me. My soul had been sold to the devil
