Emma’s POV

[Flashback]

I woke up feeling a bit happy and sad. Happy because my wish to leave will be fulfilled in about some hours’ time, and sad because I had to leave one good thing behind.

I stared at the plane tickets which I had kept in the drawer last night.

Brian had called me to his study to give me the ticket personally.

Ever since that day at the hospital, we haven’t really talked much to each other, and that’s the way I preferred it.

Now more than ever I have to stay away from Brian and it’s only because…because I found out that I am in love with him.

The reason why I save him from harm, why I feel strange any time I see him with Nina, why I feel sad any time he is angry with me, why I get so mad at him for not seeing Nina lies… It’s all because I love him.
