Chapter 38. Failed Attempt

At the Glodeous Palace, Marshall came looking for King Timodore and Queen Asalea. He was met by Dreckos at the main door of the palace.

“Hola Marshall, what a sudden visit. How’s the Knostican Palace?”Dreckos greeted him with a smile.

“Dreckos, I need to speak with the King. Yesterday night the Knostican Palace has been attacked.” He replied with urgency.

Dreckos became worried as he led Marshall to the throne’s hall.

“My King, apology for coming here without any invitation or prior notice.” Marshall’s introduction while vowing his head when he saw King Timodore sitting on his throne.

“It’s fine Marshall. What brought you here at this hour?” King Timodore looked at Marshall inquisitively.
