  “What?” I blinked several times, wondering if I had heard my friend correctly. 

  “Yes. Luna, Alpha. She claims to have important information.” Sasha explained. “She seems genuine, and we should see what she has to say.” 

  I turned to Aaron, who gave a slight nod of agreement. 

  “Yes. Let's check this out,” he said. 

  “I am coming.” I insisted before he could order me to stay here. “Sasha, wait here.” 

  As we reached the border, I saw a figure standing just beyond the line. It was a woman, her posture rigid and confident. I could sense the power emanating from her, and it only fueled my curiosity.

  “Hello there,” Aaron called out. I could sense his uncertainty. 

  Approaching cautiously, I spoke, "Who are you, and how do you know about Carrie? What is it you want from us?”
