Isla’s POV 

     “I need to leave. I cannot stay here another second. All my life, I have had to deal with more and more stress, and this tops it for me.” Mora huffed and started to throw things into her suitcase. 

    My blood was boiling upon hearing such rubbish from her poisonous mouth. 

    How dare she! 

    I growled, and Cora immediately tried to trap me against her and the wall. She knew I was about to lose my temper with this sorry excuse of a she-wolf. 

    “Don’t even retaliate to her, and she is not worth it,” Cora said quietly, but Mora shot her a filthy look, which only caused me to growl even louder. 

    I didn’t even stop when I felt Max beside me. 

    “Come on, Isla.” He tried to distract me and lead me away, but I wrenched my hand from him. he looked astonished but said nothing.
