Miller’s POV

  Pembroke. 

  That word just kept ringing inside my tired head. I could not go back there and face the shame that I knew would be waiting for me. I had killed my beta, my best friend and been badly betrayed. The pack would see me as weak and not strong anymore for the alpha role. I did not want to be challenged for the role that belonged to me. 

  Was this all just my own fault for rejecting Isla in the first place. 

  He regretted that so much. 

  If only I could turn back the hands of time.

  I would have done it all so differently. 

  Isla’s father had been the reason I had rejected her in the first place. 

  He should die too. 

  Perhaps if they were all out of the way then Isla would take me back and we could rule Pembroke together. I would have my luna and my rightful one.
