Chapter 69

Nina 

“Are you okay Nina ?” Asked Aiden looking into my eyes frantically instead of him to answer my question. 

I suddenly had the urge to close my eyes and concentrate on my senses and instinct, ignoring Aiden’s warm weight over me and shooting out the chaos and loud noises of people panicking around us. 

I sensed three men hiding away in a tall building with their laser gun , not just any laser gun but it’s filled with wolfsbane which only makes it clear that they are after Aiden or I , it could be the both of us. 

“Nina, what are you doing ? Open your eyes , we need to go somewhere to hide and keep you safe !“ shouted Aiden which distracted my concentration a little bit but before the flying wolfsbane bullet could reach Aiden , I placed my hands on his chest and pushed him away with all my strength before rolling over him just a second before the wolfsbane bullet hits the ground close to his head
