Chapter 51. Marquis Cortez

Kash Garza was helped by an officer into the interrogation room in a limp and was made to take a sit on the cold iron chair with a bandage wrapped around his right thigh. 

“Ughh!” Kash grunted as he rested his weight on the cold iron table. The heaviness in his eyelid conveyed he was still in pain even after the first aid he'd received. 

Inspector Taylor and Detective Roosen came into the room right after. They stood side by side as the officer held one of Kash's hands and handcuffed it to one of the stands of the iron chair. 

The officer made a casual salute to both Inspector Roosen and detective Taylor when he was done and left the interrogation room promptly.
