JOHN called Lucian to his office to give him a rundown of the cost it would take to sever ties with Prima Star.

Lucian's hands shivered in surprise at seeing how much Caldwell Incorporated needed to pay.

"This much, huh?" He mumbles.

John frowns, "Yes, I don't like Shirley, but I wouldn't like the company to suffer this much. Unless they are the ones that cut ties with us like what Ripley International did," he explains while patting Lucian's back.

"That means we need to endure having her around," Lucian states.

John nods, "But I think you are doing well. You were able to stand up against her, even shout at her, and she listened to you." He explains.

"And that's a good thing?" Lucian inquired.

"Yes. You have no idea how madly in love you were with her before, and it's understandable, you are 15, and she was 21 when you first met. In everyone's eyes, she grooms you to be an obedient boyfriend," John commented.
