Chapter 147. Internal Audit

LATTON gasped in surprise when the dark shadow jumped at her fast, but before she could scream the light showed what it was.

“YODA!?” She mumbles in awe. “What are you doing here little pup?” She asks the dog in a playful tone.

Yoda barked, then ran deep into the garden to the back fence where she could see a small hole in the ground that even a small child could fit. “Is this how to get into the garden?” She mumbled while laughing.

Soon she heard a familiar voice, “Yoda!? Yoda, where are you, buddy?” A male voice shouted.

“Hank?” She mutters to the figure on the other side of the fence.

Hank walked towards the fence and saw her through the gap. “Latton?”

“Yes, hi? You live around here?” She asks while watching Yoda digging another hole near the fence.

“Yes, I live next door,” he replied while squatting, trying to get Yoda to stop digging.
