Chapter 160. Plummeting Stocks

IN the middle of the reopened murder case. Albert asks Kirby to process his bail as soon as possible.

“Am I going to process Miss Gardner’s bail as well?” Kirby asks his boss worriedly.

Albert shook his head. “No. Not yet. Once I get out, I will visit her. I don’t think her being released will help my thin-thread relationship with my daughter.” He pointed out. His face expresses despair. 

“I created a monster,” Albert thought to himself.

Kirby discreetly heaves a sigh of relief. “Finally. He is thinking of his family again,” he said to himself. 

Shortly, Kirby left.

Meanwhile, at the York Villa, Latton is busy contacting all the Ripley international stockholders to purchase their stock as she is anticipating that her father, Albert, will be out on bail soon. She’s taking advantage of the plummeting stocks and her father’s absence to finally take over Ripley International.
