Chapter 55. Outburst
“I MET him again, and I couldn't stop thinking about the things we did. It lives rent-free in my mind. I feel something inside me twisting, whenever I think of him doing the same thing to others." Latton heaves deeply, furrowed her brows then continued sharing her sentiments, "Yesterday, we rode in a car together, and I stopped myself from looking at him.” She explains while lying on the sofa staring blankly at the white ceiling.
“Why? Why did you stop yourself from looking at him? Do you hate him for leaving?” Laura asks while writing on her notes.
Latton lowered her head and clasped her hands, “I don’t hate him, what happened before is inevitable. We’ll end it sooner or later. I think I never thought that I'd meet him again, especially not in this type of situation.”
“Situation? Like what?” Laura asked with curiosity in her tone.
“We work in the same building. Our families know each other and it’s just awkward. What if I lose control, and just lunge at him
