Chapter 59. The Accusation
LUCIAN can’t fathom the scene he is seeing and can only stare at them from the ajar door, unsure if he would knock, enter or simply move away and forget this day ever happened, but before he could think of the best way to deal with it a voice from behind him spoke, and it caught Latton and George’s attention.
"Sir, do you need anything from Mr. Caldwell?" A friendly voice asks, when he turns around he sees a young man around twenty-five years old, wearing a white buttoned shirt with a blue-colored loose tie. He is wearing thick black framed glasses, giving him a nerdy vibe. He is his father’s new assistant as the previous one chose to retire early due to poor health conditions, as he remembers his name is Owen.
"Sir?" Owen muttered with a confused look on his face. Before Lucian could respond, George opened the door and said, "Why are you standing there? Come inside if you need anything." He gestured to his son to enter the room as he glanced at Owen to continue his work
