Chapter 66. The Outing
AFTER the laborious and stressful months due to the Hamilton contract, George set up a company-wide outing with the R. I employees. The event will be held at the end of the month.
The day came fast, and a dozen buses lined up in front of the Caldwell Inc. building waiting for the employees to fill the seats. The outing will be held in a resort two hours away from the city. George rented the whole place to maximize all the amenities, like the pool area, spa, sauna and the whole four hectare shore in front of the resort that shows the clean, blue body of water that turns orange during the sunset.
They arrived at the location around seven o’clock in the morning and everyone was mesmerized by the beauty of the place. They start gathering their stuff for their rooms. Most employees shared rooms except the managers, the Caldwells, Latton, and Lucius, who had rooms separately located in a more glamorous part of the resort.
