Chapter 99. A New Idea

"Hello, Sweet Kids. Where are your parents?" the woman replied warmly.

Louis immediately put on a pitiful expression. Emily imitated him.

"We were taking a nap earlier. When we woke up, our parents had already gone to the dining room."

"Daddy and Mommy asked us to follow. They said this is our chance to learn to be independent. But we saw there were guards there. We were afraid of being thrown out because we didn't bring anything."

Emily shook her head cutely. The woman chuckled and pinched her cheek.

"You don't need to worry. You can come with us. Come on." She reached out to Louis and Emily. "Assume my husband and I are your parents."

The man didn't seem to mind. Thanks to the young couple's help, the twins managed to enter the dining room.

"Now, where are your parents?"

Louis spontaneously waved his hands. "You don't need to take us any further, Madam. We must be independent."
