Chapter 45. Private Talk

"Mommy, come here quickly! You don't have free time like this every day," Emily whispered in enthusiasm. She couldn't wait to show off the bookshelf that had become her favorite for the last two days.

Chuckling, Kara let her daughter pull her finger. She had accompanied Louis to the automotive section earlier. Now it was the little girl's turn to guide her.

"Ta-da!"

As Emily spread her arms with a cheerful face, Kara was stunned. In front of them, books full of color and illustrations were neatly arranged.

"I wonder why Emily likes this shelf so much. In fact, those books will also be ours when we go to school," Louis grumbled, folding his arms in front of his chest. His cheeks puffed out and his lips pursed. He hoped Emily wouldn't stay too long because he still had to take Kara to the technology section.
