Chapter 163. All Wet
"These aren't stones, Eva. These are grains of sand. We chose the biggest ones but not too big so the window doesn't break." Louis pinched the grain of sand he was about to throw with his index finger and thumb. "See? It's harmless. We didn't even think it was audible."
"It sounded very clear to my ears. It was very annoying. So, stop throwing things at my window. Just play with the butterfly."
"The butterfly is gone. It flew very high, towards that tree." Emily pointed her finger. Her other hand was clenched tightly, holding the grains of sand she had collected for Louis.
Eva closed her eyes for a moment. Her blood pressure was too high. Her head started to hurt.
"Don't you guys have anything else to do besides bothering me?" Eva looked at the twins with a tired face.
The two toddlers shook their heads together.
"This is our holiday. Mommy said we are free to do whatever we want. On Monday, our schedule will be full again."
