Chapter 24. Jester Admitted

Tom called the driver, and told him to bring the ladder.

“Partner, check upstairs, and all the surroundings and rooms.”

“Why, partner?” Divlen asked curiously. 

“Look, there's a little camera.” She pointed to the other side.

Tom was surprised because he had no idea that there was a camera installed in his own home. He was even more impressed with the woman because of the sharpness of her eyes.

“Great, Inspector Navarro, your eyes are very sharp.” SPO2. Herrera looked on with a smile.

“You cannot become an inspector if you're not good at everything? There's one person out there who got hired because he's good,” Divlen snapped, and Tom was the one he was hitting.

Divlen went upstairs, and was joined by SPO2. Herrera, they searched the whole room. The driver came with a ladder, and immediately let him out.

“Hold on, and I'll go up,” she ordered Tom.

“Okay, but be careful,” he said. 

“Uhm!” her short reply.
