Jane wasn't just mad at herself for not trying to hire a professional, she was mad that she might lose this customer and it wouldn't be for something that she couldn't have avoided, it was going to be for something frivolous as not coming early to the point that she was supposed to get her art piece.

She made a serious mistake, she didn't even think about the delivery until she answered her assistant's phone and she remembered that she needed to get the art piece out of her gallery to the owner.

She was aiming slack in her job and she isn't like it.

She touched her stomach because she would have blamed it on her baby bump or her back pain but there were enough excuses for that, she messed up and she was going to have to clean up her mess if she still wanted to keep her.

The only way she knew that she was going to do that was to do the delivery herself, she knew that the art piece had been packed and ready to be sent to the owner
