Christian wanted to take her home so that he could come back and talk to Jane because he didn't see her again after she passed them without acknowledging them.

He wanted to say he understood what was going on with her but he didn't think he understood any of that, he was very sure that she would have many things to say, things that he would have to be interested in since she was the one that practically had things she was keeping.

“Do you think we could go now” Rivers came up behind him.

She went to say her goodbyes to her friend because she said she had other engagements she was supposed to be at but she has to come here because her friend was important to her.

She told him all of these as they were seeing the arts, he had to pretend that he was interested but he was interested in whatever she was saying, this was why when she asked him if they could go now, he didn't bother to answer, he just took her outstretched hands and lead her outside.<
