Chapter 18

"I hate Mondays," Beatrice groaned as we made our way through the large crowds in school.

"Me too!" I chuckled as I held my books closer to my chest.

Beatrice came to my house yesterday and I ended up telling her everything that happened on Friday night.

She cried her eyes out, blaming herself that she shouldn't have left me all by myself.

I tried to comfort her by telling her it wasn't her fault but she stubbornly disagrees.

She was happy that Lucas had come earlier on time to save me.

I later got to realize how he knew I had a movie night that day, he was the one who tore the letter Charles gave me and he must have seen the ticket where I've kept it in my locker.

I felt bad for calling him a psychopath, but my subconsciousness scolded me that he deserved every outburst of my words.

Beatrice walked me to my class and pulled me in for a hug.

"Take care dear, we will see during lunch," She said and I patted her back with my eyes close sm
