LUCAS'S POV

I watched as Beatrice gave me a worried look when she hugged Camilla and patted her back gently.

'They will hurt me!' Her scared and desperate voice petrified me in my head while I assured her no one will as I hugged her tightly to my body wondering those she was referring to as my inner soul boiled in anger ready to murder anyone who hurts her this time around.

It hurts to see her this way, I had seen her running horrifically to the library, things seems off like she was trying to run away from something terrific and drastic.

My curiosity took the best part of me as I ran after her and in no time, I caught up with her and yanked her to my side.

Her body was convulsing terribly but I held her tightly pressing her head on my chest as I felt her heart, beat wildly against her chest till she calmed down.

The bell rang again to remind students that were clustering around to be in class.
