Davina’s POV:-

I glanced at him and back at the file, “Why did you hide this from me?” he asked, I gulped hard and stared at him.

What should I say to him? I thought,

Tell him the truth! My subconscious replied,

What if he gets angry? I asked,

Let him, you should have informed him but you chose to hide it from him… my subconscious said,

I took a deep breath and looked away from him, “I had to… I didn’t have other choices,” I said while staring at the ground.

“I can’t see… you throwing her out of the house… I know you hate kids and I could imagine what you would do if I told you that... she’s your child... I just want to protect her,” I said,

still avoiding his eyes, he was just sitting there and looking at me.

There was no reaction from him,

why isn’t he saying anything?

I thought and peeped at him. I saw him staring at me with a blank face.

“I’m not her father,” He said while staring into my eyes,

“What
