Davina’s Pov:-

It has been 24 hours since we travelled back to New York, Nadia went back to her home and promised me that she would visit us every weekend. I realized that she wasn’t the person I thought she was, she had her reasons for her past behaviour. That night, she came to my room and told me everything. I understood her situation and decided to let it be in the past.

As soon as we came back to the mansion, Arthur left for work and I was left alone with April. I showered her and fed her lunch. The whole day I played with her and read stories to her. I kept thinking about him, his words, and his actions in the past few days.

What he said to his dad kept rushing to my mind all the time and I kept wondering whether he really loves me or he just said it. What if he really meant it? A question popped inside my head.
