“You’re so bad at keeping a secret!” Zayden laughed out loud as Zenee answered the video call. “You planned to surprise me, and yet, you did not warn all the people around you and around me to not spill anything... to keep it a secret?” He continued laughing. “You also did not rehearse Aunt Zoila’s acting...”

Zenee could not help but laugh with his son. She really tried her best to keep her plan a secret, but in their family, lying and keeping a secret are two of the things that they just could not do well.

“So... can you finally answer my question, Mom?” Zayden raised a brow and pouted. “When are you coming home?”

“I’m coming home in three days...”

Zayden jumped out of too much happiness. Because he was really excited, he asked his mom a lot of questions right away, “Who will pick you up at the airport? What time is your estimated arrival? Do you want me to cook something for you? Where do you want to go during your stay here—do you wanna go to a beach or so
