“Babe! You’re home!”

Ashley was surprised to see Kean in the condo’s living room, and she quickly approached him to give him a peck.

Kean tried to act normal, but he couldn’t help but flinch when he remembered how Ashley had kissed Zayden earlier. The video that Justin took even played in his mind— specifically, the part where Ashley had responded to Zayden’s kisses as if she wanted the kiss, too.

“Is... is there a problem, babe?” Ashley immediately asked when she noticed Kean avoiding her. She felt that he was avoiding her because he didn’t even give back the energy that she had when she gave him a peck.

Kean quickly shook his head and forced a smile.

“I... I just haven’t taken a bath yet. I was just shy, thinking I might smell bad...” Kean made an excuse.

Ashley just laughed and shook her head. She was about to walk towards the bedroom to change, but Kean spoke again before doing so.
