Chapter 68

Kean woke up early with the plan to prepare breakfast for Ashley. He intended to do this because his wife had a request, and he wanted her to fulfill his request—to return to the advertising department of De Ford Builds.

Since Ashley’s usual favorite morning meal was corned beef with egg, that’s what Kean cooked. He even planned to brew coffee for his wife.

Due to the relatively small size of Kean’s condo unit, the aroma of his cooking permeated the space, reaching their bedroom and waking Ashley.

“Wow...” Ashley emerged from their room with a big smile, seeing Kean almost done with the cooking. “That smells so good, babe... it’s like ‘you have a favor to ask’ kind of scent,” she said while shaking her head.

Just as Kean finished cooking, he walked towards Ashley and asked, “So, Ash, have you thought about my offer?” He then gave Ashley a kiss on her neck, placing his hands on her waist.

Ashley, playfully twirling a strand of her hair, raised an eyebrow
