I was relishing the moment and basking in the joy of having Noella in such a vulnerable position, the thought that I had put her in that position making the feeling only more ethereal.

I moved closer to Noella and traced the lines of her face, halting beneath her jaw line to pull her face upwards and look at me.

“Such beauty should not be reduced to a rotten corpse, don’t you agree?” I drew my voice down to a soft breath and whispered into her ear “Come back to me Noella, then we can decide how to put Logan through the process of inheriting my position as Alpha. He is both our son and he needs his father, you should not put him away from that.”
