Sara’s POV

Outside was glamorous, and everyone seemed to be happy. My evil cousin will be crowned Luna tonight, though the title is said to be temporal.

I pace around the room—the small, tiny room that is left for me and my sister since we are now maids. I sighed at each turn that I made with a big frown on my face.

After the deaths of my parents, things have been pretty hard on us. Not even a servant chose to stand by us; everyone left, and soon after, Lord Austin sold my father’s mansion off in the name of “Taking back his possession”.

Laura and I had no choice but to come into his mansion to seek refuge, not for revenge partially but to have food on our table to eat and also to make life miserable for the cousin that ruined our lives.

I bit my nails in agony, yet it didn’t satisfy me. I crossed my arms, I took different positions, and still I was unrest. I needed to do something.

Shortly, Laura rushed into our room. I was
