Sara’s POV

“What?” His mother exclaimed in shock, confusion and astonishment as her eyes rolled from me back to her son.

Judas did not say a word as his sweet gaze remained on me but I was the one feeling nervous and awkward.

“Mum, she is the woman I have come to love. Hope you won’t be against our union.” Finally his voice resonated in the room, giving me more courage to nod in adjournment.

“This woman is a stranger, you know nothing about her. No parents, no relatives, she is just there.” She halted.

“We accepted her because someone has finally captured your heart and made it move again but being pregnant for someone she does not know, it’s risky.” she folded her hands in disbelief, shaking her head.

My mouths were pressed on each other, unable to say anything. What is there to say? I have already been abandoned.

Even if I ended up marrying Judas, I would find it hard to relate with his parents; I rolled my eyes with a deep sigh.
