Noella’s POV

“How is my child?” I heard his voice coming through the closed door in the new bedroom chamber.

The wolf doctor, Kenth has just finished checking me up. He did not say anything to me as he leaves through the door.

I lay on the bed, staring at the exit with full attention so I could hear whatever they were saying.

“I won’t clearly say yes.” that was Kenth’s voice I heard.

“What do you mean exactly? Is something wrong with my child?” I heard a little creak from the door, maybe he attempt to come in but the doctor stopper him.

All he cares about seem to be the child. What if there is no child? Would he have come find me? I really did a bad thing—if I had hide quietly in the city. He would not have been able to find me.
