Noella’s POV

My baby, I think I heard the cry of my baby. If it is not mine, then its whose?

My anxious eyes scanned the empty room, in search of my baby who is expected to be close to him mother yet he is not on sight.

“My child..” I cried inwardly the moment I couldn’t find him.

I was so weak to stand up from the soggy bed, so I decided to clean my eyes maybe it could be I was not seeing the room clearly.

Again, I gave the room another look. But I did not see a thing, not even one human being.
