Vampire's Love - 18. Someone Wants Me

Katarina's POV

I pushed him with all my might and sobbed thinking I am going to be a monster. He interrupted me with a stare. "Your fever should be gone by now." He said as he walked towards the dressing table. He then took a tissue to wipe his lips. I touched my forehead and it's no longer hot. Yes, fever is gone.

"How did you do that?" I asked him softly while sitting up. I feel so much better to be honest.

"My blood. It healed you." He replied while giving me an annoyed look and I looked down.

"I thought I'd turn into a-"

"A monster?" he cut me off, his voice laced with venom and I felt bad.

"You can turn only if I wanted to. You can turn into a vampire if you have my consent." He explained while taking off his shirt and I blushed slightly before turning away.

"I didn't know that," I said softly.

"You would've if you had patience to listen. But you didn't bother to listen." He said with a hint of annoyance in his vo
