"So, that's it. What we have done all these days is nothing. Just like that you're asking us to leave?" Kristen asked angrily as she looked at me with full hatred now. "Because she was chosen. How did she even pass?" she choked out, tears already running from her eyes. I just remained silent.

"Stop whining, you know that only one gets to stay, others have to leave. Besides, I have rejected you all the very first day except her." Alex retorted at me as I awkwardly stood in my position, trying to come up with something to convince Alex to let them stay. How did I get chosen? All I did was causing trouble and constantly trying to escape, so why? Was it because of my blood? Or because the Mendez clan is looking for me?
