Book 3: Chapter 17

Asher appeared in the woods and quickly shifted into his wolf. He met up with some warriors of Blue Moon pack and together, they gave a hoot pursuit to a pack of wolves. The wolves were fast and although they could outrun Asher’s warriors, they couldn’t outrun him and so with time, his people were way behind him and he was not ready to let go of the wolves’ trails.

He couldn’t believe that he had just moved in and they had shown appearance again. With how close he was at catching them, he knew his decision of moving temporarily to the human realm was the best, even though the unknown wolves weren’t the only reason he had suggested it.

He leaped on a tree, tapping into his nightwalkers powers to keep him balance on the trees as he leaped from one to the other. After a few jumped, he finally landed with a loud roar and the wolves in front of him screeched to a stop. They watched him, wanting to know what he would do next and the best way to evade him.
