Asher didn’t bother Anita as she walked past him as he was preoccupied with the scent he was perceiving. It was leading him towards the palace and so he followed, also wondering within himself where she could have hidden Naomi.

As he trailed the scent, he frowned, Naomi may not be a wolf or a vampire but he knows her scent. Her scent was like lavender and jasmine mixed together and if he should be perceiving her scent tonight, it should be the same scent with a dense concentration and tantalizing.
