Chapter 45. I’ll Save You

Amoux’s POV

“L-Leah,” I called out weakly to Leah. She closed his eyes. She was trying to heal me. I tried to push her because I knew that while she was healing me, she would lose her strength. That’s the exchange every time she heals.

Does she really deserve to heal me? Is it worth it that she should consider giving up her life for me?

“A-Amoux, don’t be naughty. I can’t concentrate on what you’re doing. You need to get better because we need you, the Nightwalker needs you,” Leah said emphatically, then held me again.

I feel as if energy is entering my body. I stopped myself from moaning at what she was doing. We have to get out of here, no matter what.
