Just as I was about to open my mouth to say something, Siena let out a loud squeal as we both turned our heads to look at her. “She’s getting jealous,” I spoke and stepped away from the uncomfortable situation. “She woke up for nothing because she has nothing to be jealous about.” Christian chuckled and grabbed her out of her seat. “And I’ll be back for my kiss.” Christian smiled while I pretended to gag.

“What, you don’t want to?” Christian laughed. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to, but I couldn’t.

“How is Beau?” He asked. “Grateful, but confused became it came from you,” I told him. “He wants me to thank you, but he also wants you to know that this won’t give you a pass because he’ll still punch you.”

“Fine.” Christian shrugged. “A punch is alright. It’s Beau, so I expected him to kill me.”

“True.” I agreed. “But the only person worthy of the Beau treatment is Matteo. Other than that, he has actually changed a lot.”
