Chapter 31

Ethan King was talking to his friend over the phone. "I cannot accept the alliance, Ryan. I can't see my daughter getting hurt. I don't care about anything except for her happiness." Ethan told Ryan who was pacing back and forth in his room.

"Ethan, think about it with a clear mind. You know Liam is the best choice for Aurora," Ryan tried to make him understand but Ethan was not listening to him.

"I don't care,. We had this arrangement," he sighed trying to calm himself.

Ryan fisted his hand, "let Liam handle, Aurora!"

"No! Don't even think about it, Ryan I chose your son for my daughter. I wanted her to marry Liam but Aurora loves someone else and she is happy with him. She got engaged today with him," Ethan warned Ryan.

"Ethan, my son, is not going to like this. You don't know the consequences of this…"

That made Ethan lose his cool. "Ryan! Don't warn me about consequences because if anyone is going to suffer them is you. My daughter is happy
